We may joke that here at Gold Dust & Walker Farms we also focus on growing people but it’s true! The Executive Team is dedicated to servant leadership. That means we are committed to being lifelong learners and operate with integrity, humility, and self-discipline. We aim to invest in and empower our team to be the best they can be, grow within the company, and find what they are most passionate about along the way.
Gold Dust and Walker Farms is proud to be part of the Klamath Basin and pride ourselves on our ability to give back to the community. Near and dear to our hearts are any charitable organizations that support youth, especially those involved in agriculture. Our Team is also givers, helping every year with fundraisers, highway cleanups, and other activities that make our world a better place.

Sustainably Grown
We grow that too! Sustainability is a bit of a buzzword these days, but the truth is, that much of sustainable agriculture is already rooted in our practices, handed down over the generations of farmers before us. Practices that include crop rotations, cover crops, water conservation, and biodiversity are already part of our farm story. By continuing these proven past practices and adding in lessons learned from the advancements in agronomy and technology we are hard at work to continuously improve our sustainability plan and assure future generations can carry on the legacy of farming.
Certifications and Documentation
As the markets and customer tastes have changed, it’s become even more important to let the consumer know what they can expect from growers.
For years, Gold Dust & Walker Farms have participated in the USDA GAP program. We voluntarily open our fields and facilities to audits from the USDA to show we’re complying with industry recognized food safety practices.
We are also certified by
PrimusGFS, a global food safety
initiative certification program.
This includes an in depth, onsite
audit of our packing facility and
review of records for traceability.
Our organic line is certified to
ensure all USDA requirements are
met. We can ensure the integrity of
our organic seal.
WHAT WE GROW
We grow a variety of grains, alfalfa, and other legumes but pride ourselves on our high-quality chipper potatoes. Decades of experience, trial, and error, and hard knocks have helped us develop a strong growing & storage program that produces potatoes that can be shipped 10 months after harvest! This, along with some great partners in the Klamath Basin, Boardman Oregon, and American Falls Idaho allow us to ship year-round. Our potatoes are destined for greatness either as a crunchy potato chip or comforting French fries that are enjoyed throughout the world!
